Visit to Romania
Last October, 2009 our President, Livija Lame had the privilege of attending a women's conference in Romania.
The main speaker was Raquel Contreras, Baptist President of Chile and
Vice-President of Latin America. Her message was good and well-received
by the Romanians. It was evident that God was present and at work in
the lives of the women attending, many of whom were young women. This
was most encouraging.
During her time in Romania, Livija was given the opportunity to visit a
church in Timisoara and was able to meet with some of the women of the
church, again including young people. As the young people were
beginning a new study year, time was spent in special prayer for them.

In
Romania the women's ministry is divided up into various sections eg.
Prayer, Bible Study, Social Help, Education etc. and many good things
appear to be happening.
Please remember the women of Romania in your prayers; they need encouragement, specially for leadership in the women's work.
